I was on Easy Equities for a few years and it went well, until they started charging fee's for services they started making up, without consent. Suddenly fee's were raised for services I never subscribed to. They do unethical business. I took all my money out and left. I'd rather place my money in a fixed deposit. Sad but true.

How are you supposed to build credit from 0 if you need credit to start building credit? I suck at math and numbers😭🤦‍♂️ my dad, mom and aunt told me open up an account at mr price or some clothing shop (i forgot the name) and just pay the amount to keep it open so if the monthly fee for the account is R100 i must pay that R100 every month. And then i start building store-credit but for some reason this is alot more confusing than it should be.

U need to be able to nominate a beneficiary for you TFSA wherever you open it else it will be be included into your estate when you die and then Subject to estate duties and taxes. I know Allan Grey allow you to nominate a beneficiary. I'm still trying to find put how to do it on Easy Equities, Satrix and 1Invest

I don't think the entry price is terrible, considering that in the US a franchise can cost about $1 million in startup costs, so $300k (R6 million) does not seem bad, relatively. Of course our economies are not the same, but $1 million is almost R20 million so what seems expensive to is may not be expensive in the rest of the world.
